New Projects

This is a blanket I made for a friend of my daughter who is pregnant.  These are the colors of her nursery.  The square pattern is one I found called "Granny Square in the Round".  The color pattern I made up as I went along.

I made matching hat and diaper covers, patterns from "Hats and Diaper Covers" by Leisure Arts.  It's the Ladybug pattern...I just omitted the dots, etc.

I've been busy....

Here are a few things I've made in the last few months...all gifts for friends.

A Star Afghan for a young couple's first baby.

A shawl for a friend's mom in Utah.

Christmas Star Ornaments I made for a Service Auction at church.  I made 3 sets, each in varying color patterns (ie alternated beginning red/green and added gold thread to some).

Angry bird hat made for my son for Christmas.

A bee made for a friend at work...her name is Debra, which means Bee...

A raccoon for my best friend Jenn in Washington...her favorite animal.

And a Penguin for another dear friend, for her birthday.

Currently working on a blanket for another co-worker at work that just had a baby (I'm a little behind, but almost finished.)  No pics till completion.
